Mesa Verde Country Club

A country club above its fairways at golden hour

A member-owned private country club founded in 1959, with an 18-hole course, a tennis and pool complex and three dining rooms, per the club’s own description.

Why the house keeps it

We keep Mesa Verde because it is a complete member-owned club — founded in 1959, with its Billy Bell golf course, ten tennis courts, a pool complex and three dining rooms — and because it publishes its membership categories plainly: Full Golf Equity, Junior Golf for the under-40s, and Social Tennis. A serious club that still says what the doors are.
