How to Play

Seven steps to the board.

1 · Create your account

Sign up with your email below. One account is your seat at the table — it plays both leagues, the Paddock and the Harbor.

2 · Take a league subscription

Monthly or yearly — one subscription covers both leagues. Founders price — $4.99/month or $39.99/year, locked for founding members while their membership stays active.

3 · Receive 1,000 Newport Points

On the 1st of each month your balance is allotted 1,000 Newport Points — the currency both leagues play for.

4 · Read the House Read

The house's priced form, posted in the open before every race: the full field, every PAYS multiplier, and the method behind the numbers.

5 · Pick and stake

Pick a winner or a podium finish and stake your NP before lights out. When the race starts, picks lock.

6 · Settle at PAYS

A correct pick returns stake × PAYS on the official result; a miss loses the stake. Nothing settles on anything but the published finish.

7 · Climb the leaderboards

Every settlement lands on the player and team boards — ranked by Newport Points, with wins and losses on the record.

House Gentry does not support real-money gambling. Newport Points have no cash value — the leagues are for fun and entertainment only.

Sample of the fun

One pick, walked through.

Pick — Antonelli to win, Mexico City Grand Prix
PAYS — 5.13 from the House Read, posted in the open
Stake — 100 NP
If he wins — 100 × 5.13 = 513 NP returned · if he doesn't, the 100 NP stake is lost

This one's a sample — sign in with a subscription to play it for real.

The House Read

Form, priced in the open.

The House Read prices every pick from current championship form: a driver's winner probability is his share of the points on the table, and the PAYS multiplier is that probability inverted, less the house margin (×0.92), published before every race. Podium probability is priced at three times the winner read, capped. The House Read — form-based, published before every race.

Leaderboards

The boards open with the founding season.

Player leaderboard

No predictions settled yet. The player board opens with the founding season — first settlements land after the Mexico City Grand Prix on November 1, ranked by Newport Points with wins and losses on the record.

Team leaderboard

Teams open with player accounts: form a team at the table, pool your record, and climb the team board together. Team standings count every member's Newport Points, wins, and losses.

Newport Points

The points, plainly.

1,000 NP, every month

Every player is allotted 1,000 Newport Points on the 1st of each month. They are the league's only currency, and everyone starts the month level.

Stake your read

Predictions stake Newport Points. Picks lock at the start of the race — or the first start of the regatta.

The PAYS multiplier

A correct prediction returns your stake × the published PAYS multiplier. A missed prediction loses the stake. Every multiplier is published before the event, never after.

Points, never money

Newport Points have no cash value, ever. This is prediction gaming — played for the table, the standings, and the season. Just for fun.

Player Accounts
